Waste, recycling and the circular economy

Punarchakra Udyam Setu

From Waste to Wealth

A demand led market access mission run by GAMSME with the School of Livelihood and Rural Development. India already generates far more municipal, agricultural and industrial waste than the enterprises able to process it, and extended producer responsibility and biogas obligations now write the demand into law. This mission organises that material into enterprises that can supply it.

Buyers first

Obligated entities and offtakers post structured requirements before any enterprise work begins: material, grade, quantity, moisture and contamination limits, documentation and price basis.

Readiness clinics

District and cluster clinics on enterprise formation, authorisation, costing, safety, weighing and record keeping, in the cluster and in the local language.

Punarchakra Sangam

A buyer connect finale where supply agreements are signed in the open, with the Pollution Control Board, the urban local body and the lender in the same room.

Standing marketplace

A district waste and obligation map, a supplier registry, a readiness score and a consignment trail, maintained after the event ends.
